DRE offers e-mail response option
The DRE has launched a pilot program enabling applicants, licensees, and members of the public to contact the department’s Licensing Section via e-mail in order to ask questions regarding either Examinations or Licensing. The DRE will respond within three to five business days. To submit a question, go to http://www.dre.ca.gov/lic_ask_drelicensing.html.

DRE LICENSE NUMBER MUST BE ON SOLICITATION MATERIALS
The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) has recently adopted a new regulation clarifying the law that requires DRE license numbers on business cards and all other solicitation materials intended to be the first point of contact with consumers. The licensing law came into effect on July 1, 2009 as we previously reported.

Code of Ethics
NAR requires all their members to complete the Code of Ethics every quadrennial. The 3rd quadrennial begins in 2009. All new Realtor members must complete before attending orientation.
