Qualifications:

An exceptional eye for detail and organization.
Ability to write/edit written materials preferred.
Ability to use good judgment.
Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook is necessary.
Spectra/Yardi experience a plus

Accounting Clerk
Commercial Property Management Company is seeking qualified individuals for full-time employment. Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be considered for this position.
Location: Victorville
Compensation: $9.00/hr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must reside in the High Desert
2. Must have 2+ years in accounts payable AND accounts receivable
3. Must have computer proficiency in MS Office programs
4. Commercial Property Management/Real Estate experience a big plus
5. Spectra/Yardi software experience a big plus
Purpose:
Under the regular supervision of the Bookkeeping Supervisor, the Accounting Clerk is responsible for administering the accounts payable and receivable functions of the management company and of the properties managed by the management company.
Schedule:
This position works Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
• Strong communication, organizational and writing skills
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools required.
• Excellent organizational and record keeping skills.
• An exceptional eye for detail and organization.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
• 2+ years accounting experience in A/P and A/R
• Goal oriented, team player
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Greet visitors and answer all incoming management calls. Transfer calls and take messages as necessary.
- Receive all incoming invoices
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Receive rent checks (no cash policy)
- Assist bookkeepers with payables and receivables
- Assist property managers with creating lease management files and responding to phone and email inquiries
- Process work orders
- Operate all office machines
- Type all general correspondence
- Stock all office supplies
- Set up and maintain accurate tenant, owner, and vendor files
- Make copies and file
